The timeless art of self care and inner inquiry
The Word Yoga means Union…

This Union we pursue is a deep & lasting connection between Body, Mind and Heart.

When people practice yoga they are looking for authentic peace, love, happiness and the experience of inner truth.

Yoga can offer a gateway to go beyond the mind and into self-awareness.

With practice, you will develop the ability to quieten your thoughts and experience genuine freedom and peace of mind.

Hatha Yoga
Is the branch of Yoga which deals with the physical body, its care, health, strength and includes the technical practices and disciplines by which the body and the vital energies can be brought under control.

Every exercise is practiced slowly and easily, to prevent the effects of exhaustion which is the enemy of good health. Therefore within our physical bodies we develop a balance of strength and flexibility. We learn to balance effort and surrender, which is the cornerstone of yoga.

Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine through intelligent use of the breath so that energy can flow freely, increasing vitality and powers of resistance. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which then helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present within the unfolding of each moment.
