About Your Teacher

Catherine has a deep passion for yoga. From her first experience with yoga she was hooked, and has developed an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and improving herself both as a student and teacher of Yoga. She has a great desire to help others, guiding them safely and compassionately through each yoga experience.

Catherine continues to take workshops with international teachers whenever possible to build and deepen her knowledge and explore the complexities of a practice that dates back many thousands of years.

Her goal is to share the amazing gift of yoga with as many others as she can.

Catherine's Yoga Journey Began
My background in nursing, a massage therapist and
contemporary dancer was my starting point.

A fascination with functional anatomy was fuelled by the beauty, strength and grace of the postures.

The twists and turns that took place in my life led me in 1993 to seek the answers to some of life's big questions. What I didn't expect was to fall in love with a practice that would change my life.

Peace, self acceptance, balance and contentment came hand in hand with strength, fitness and flexibility.

My goal is to pass on the belief that through regular practice we all can achieve growth, strength, flexibility, healing and joy in all facets of our lives.

On a personal level I feel Yoga has given me strength and compassion with the challenges faced being a mother and in general life.
